Biography

BIG DEAL IS THE NEW VOICE OF THE SOUTH. Born and raised in Florida, BIG DEAL grew up in the Skid Row area of Ft. Lauderdale where his family owned and ran several businesses. Just like the best that ever did it in hip-hop, he had a first hand education from the streets, letting school fill in the blanks, giving his lyrics a perfect combination of knowledge with the edge that only real time in “the game” can bring.

Pivotal moments in his life began with the murder of his Father. Issues that his Mother and Grandmother who raised him, could not explain how to deal with for a young Big Deal. He found he had a talent for hip-hop and football. His call for the mic was stronger than his call to the gridiron and he soon found himself making his moves with Picture Perfect Ent., performing on school stages still too young for the club scene. While still in high school he began building his buzz with Picture Perfect Ent. which grew into the Fettie Gang. Already drawing a strong female fan base, BIG DEAL made his mark when his songs began making it into the Underground Mixtape movement. Another pivotal moment was when his underground song POLE MONKEY became a Strip Club favorite and picked up on Urban Airwaves, DJ Amazin’ and DJ Epps.

Now with the STACKHOUSE team behind him BIG DEAL plans to charm the ladies with his dirty-dirty flow, witty lyrics and fly-guy good looks bringing southern flavor making the STACKHOUSE LABEL complete. Watch for his single release June 2009.
